The Annual Victory Art Show

From June 24 to July 17, The Victory is holding an exhibition of over forty paintings by artists from the County. Open daily 10am to 5pm.

The works of Betty Ann Anderson, Marcel Blanchette, Pat Busscher, Hugh Charlebois, Carol Perrin, Jack Perrin, and Laurine Sage feature prominently in the show. Mediums include oil, acrylic, and watercolour, and subjects range from county landscapes and maritime scenes to still life and floral pictures.

New Displays for this show:

The award winning painting by Laurie Scott "Waiting for the Althetha," portraying the steamboat arriving in Picton harbour, sets the stage for the display of sunken treasures from Quinte waters salvaged by Ron Scott, including Hart pottery and bottles from Glenn Island and pottery from the wreck of the Olivia.
