The Annual Victory Art Show

Charlebois oil
Hugh Charlebois   Red Campground  oil 16" x 20"

From the 12th August to the 7th of September 2010, The Victory is holding an exhibition of artwork by artists from the County.

The Annual Victory Art Show features County Artists who work in oil, acrylic and watercolour with a wide range of subject material. Many of them have been Artist of the year at the Prince Edward County Fair.

Their work is quite exciting: from the brightness of Hugh Charlebois' oils featuring Algonquin Park, to Pat Busscher's inspiring watercolours of local scenes, to the quietness of Jack Perrin's work. Lori Scott captures the action of the moment in her watercolours while Giles Miramontes immortalizes our county history in his paintings and Ron Pickering highlights the uniqueness of subjects making them dynamic. Mia Lane and Aidan Haley, two well known artists will be joining the group this year.

There will be Mel and Colleen Wilder, a glass blower and artisan from Spirits in Glass with their beautiful pieces and sculptor Marc Bourdon showing his new works which are so unique and innovative.

Enjoy the art, the gallery is open daily 10am to 6pm.
