Art Scholarship donated by ACS

     The Archives and Collections Society donated a scholarship to the Prince Edward Collegiate Institute. In the photo below Jessica Harney, our summer student is displaying the plaque that commemorates this event. The award is for a deserving graduate proceeding to a college museum curator programme or university studies in history. We also asked the college to take a student's appreciation of art and / or art history into account, so that this new award reinforces the importance of the arts in all aspects of life including education
