Summer programme for children

Saturday mornings from 9 - 12 noon
children 7 -11 years of age

Come join the fun at the Victory this summer with Saturday morning programs for children ages 7-11. Find out what life was like as a pirate, Viking, pioneer, or explorer. Learn about canoes, schooners, bateaux, long ships, lighthouses, and shipwrecks. Investigate a variety of topics in local and maritime history, and then show your creative side with related artistic, dramatic, musical, and writing activities!

Eight classes will run from 9am to noon on the following Saturdays: June 28, July 5, July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, August 9, and August 16. On August 23, participants will get a chance to present what they have learned and created to their parents and the community.
