Our "WoodenBoat" collection

WoodenBoat, wooden boat

WoodenBoat, Issue no. 1, 1974

WoodenBoat provides an editorial environment that combines emerging technologies with traditional methods of boat design, construction, and repair. Jon Wilson founded the company in September 1974, starting with Volume 1, Number 1 (September/October 1974) – the lovely schooner "Silver Heels", authors such as John Gardner and John Atkins, most of the photography in black and white, and only five classified ads to justify a cover price of $1.50.

Collection: Robert "Bob" Todd

Availability: #1 to #60 in "volumes", all others boxed, single. Our collection is complete to May/June 2018 (number 262), sporadic thereafter.

Indexing:

Our main catalogue entry can be found here, but a more complete subject index is available here.

We do have some duplicates, including early ones not available in colour from WB, for exchange or possible sale. Please contact us for donations or exchanges.
