County Marine History highlighting Lighthouses, a Fishery and a Canal
Saturday 8th February 2025

The Prince Edward County branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario announce a special event, Lighthouses, a Fishery and a Canal: Adventures in County Marine History, to be held in the old church at Macaulay Heritage Park in Picton on Saturday 8 February at 2pm.
All are invited, to hear two authors, Dan Buchanan and Marc Seguin, and two documentary-archive editors, Amy Bodman and Jane Macdonald, share their research methods and tell their stories. After the presentations, they will all participate in a panel discussion led by ‘Navigator’ Richard Hughes; and after that, refreshments will be offered. This event, part of the Flashback February program, is sponsored jointly by ACO-PEC and SSJI (the South Shore Joint Initiative) as a fund-raiser for the HASPE digitizing project. Tickets are available on line or at the door.
