Victory Kids' Schedule 2013
This summer, the fun continues at The Victory, every Saturday morning for children ages 7-11. The program starts the 6th of July and continues until the 17th of August. The kids will be learning about Vikings, warriors, and explorers, ancient Roman civilization, and First Nations history. They will learn what it was like to be a pirate, the importance of lighthouses, and participate in fun and educational crafts and activities that will add to the learning experience with an artistic approach. It will be a fun and educational learning experience they will never forget.
Classes will run from 9:30am to 12pm on Saturday mornings.
- July 6th - Pirates, Privateering, and life aboard the pirate ships
- July 13th - Shipwrecks and Mysteries of Lake Ontario
- July 20th - First Nations history, Loyalists, and their beginnings in Canada
- July 27th - Ancient Roman civilization and The legend of Atlantis
- August 3rd - Lighthouses: How many there are and their importance
- August 10th - Vikings, Warriors and Explorers
- August 17th - The War of 1812
