Viking Ship
This summer, the fun continues at The Victory, every Saturday morning for children ages 7-11. The program starts the 5th of July and continues until the 16th of August. The young people will be learning about different topics such as Vikings, Inuit, and First Nations history. They will discover what it was like to be a pirate; lean about mythology, famous shipwrecks and the importance of lighthouses, while participating in the fun educational crafts and activities that enhance their learning experience with an artistic approach. It will be a special educational learning experience they will never forget.
The programme will run from 9:30am to 12 noon on Saturday mornings.
- July 5th - Pirates, Privateering, and life aboard the pirate ships
- July 12th - Vikings
- July 19th - Sea Mythology/Folklore
- July 26th - Inuit
- August 2nd - Shipwrecks and Lighthouses
- August 9th - Marine Biology
- August 16th - First Nations history
