Roosevelt, Joyce & Co., New York NY

Solomon Roosevelt and William S. Joyce started this shipyard in 1851: the partnership was expanded to include Waterbury in 1864, but ended in 1866, when Joyce died. Their yard was on the south side of the east end of Houston Street, in Manhattan.
