Downey Shipbuilding, Arlington NY

Wallace Downey started this shipyard after selling his yard on Shooters Island. A former steel fabrication plant called Milliken Brothers, it was on Staten Island, where the Howland Hook container terminal is now. Comments or queries, please email info@navalmarinearchive.com.
