Everett Pacific, Everett WA

Everett-Pacific Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company was established in 1942, with funds provided by the Navy. It was bought in 1944 by Pacific Car and Foundry, a major manufacturer of railcars and trucks that was building barges at its plants in Renton, Seattle and Tacoma. The lease was terminated in 1949 and the yard closed. The site was later used by Western Gear but is now part of Naval Station Everett.
