South Coast Shipbuilding, Newport Beach CA

South Coast Shipyard - also known by several similar names - was started in the late 1930s, by Walton Hubbard, and closed in 1963. The yard was at 2300 Newport Boulevard: it is now the future site of the Newport Bay Marina, which is under construction. Comments or queries, please email info@navalmarinearchive.com.
