Warren Boat Yard, Warren RI
From the sparse records avaialable, the Warren Boat Yard which was active during WWII, was established in 1939 on the site of Alder Manufacturing: one of the founders of Warren BY was Ernest E. Alder, of Alder Manufacturing, who, earlier in his career, had been the Wood Superintendent at Herreshoff Manufacturing. Warren Boat Yard closed after the war and its entire output appears to have been the eight boats listed below. Comments or queries, please email info@navalmarinearchive.com.
