Allied Shipyard

Allied Shipyard, Larose LA

Allied Shipyard was started by Ronald Callais in the early 1960s as a repair yard and continues in that market today: over the years it has also been an occasional builder of tugs and fishing vessels. The shipyard is on the west side of the GIWW, between State Street and Garden Drive: see it from the air on Google here.
