Lantana Boatyard, Lantana FL

Lantana Boatyard was started by Elliott R. Donnelley in 1965. Burger bought the yard in 1987, with the intention of moving their whole operation to Lantana from Manitowoc, but only built two boats there before closing it. Bender Shipbuilding then bought it to obtain Lantana's designs and the facility was sold for conversion to condos. The yard was at 808 N. Dixie Highway, occupying essentially the whole of the area now taken up by the buildings on the north side of Moorings Drive: see the site from the air on Google here. There are a lot of gaps in this table because so many of Lantana's boats went overseas: if anyone can fill any of them, please email info@navalmarinearchive.com.
