New Orleans Shipyard (NOSY), Waggaman LA
American River Transportation Company - ARTCO - operates a riverside facility in Waggaman LA, just upstream from the derelict Avondale Shipyard. In 2017, they added a modest shipbuilding capability at this facility, naming it the New Orleans Shipyard. So far, they have only built two towboats: it remains to be seen whether they will continue.
