Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding, Thomaston ME

Charles A. Morse established this yard in 1912 and made his reputation as a builder of racing sloops and fishing vessels. In 1978, the yard was about to close when Cabot Lyman approached Roger Morse and worked out a deal under which he took it over.
