Please see also the previous issue Schooner Days MCCLII (1252) which mentions Edwin C. Guillet's “Pioneer Inns and Taverns” referrings to Volume I at page 114: "A tavern known as Beauchamp House ... soon took the name Greenland Fishery owing to the chance visit of a sailor ... [who painted] a signboard ... representation of vessels engaged in the capture of a whale."
