In this issue, Mr Snider greturns from salt to fresh water, and recounts the loss, on the West shore of Prince Edward County, of the Thomas C. Streetin the great gale of 7 November 1880. The Street was a Shicklina build in 1869, and despite the author's final pararaph, she was recovered, repaired and sailed again until 2 December when she was finally wrecked just a few miles away near Wellington.
