Note that in "Passing Hails" below, Snider refers to Capt. Henry McConnell's wife as Amy Teresa Hudgin; she was baptized as Amy Therese, but was known as "Tressa". After they retired to Elizabeth Street in Picton, "Harry out of Picton" drilled over 1,000 feet deep on their property and at Petticoat Point looking for oil, but only found gas.
