The fourth MARCOM conference, held at the Canadian Forces Maritime Warfare Centre (CFB Halifax) in 1993. A select number of papers subjected to peer review were published in this volume; the remainder in a Special Edition of the Maritime Warfare Bulletin 94/1 (see citation next section below).

The seventh MARCOM conference, held at the Canadian Forces Maritime Warfare Centre (CFB Halifax) in 2005. Being a small number of papers, not published by a commercial press.

 

The eighth MARCOM conference was hosted in conjunction with the Canadian Nautical Research Society, and held in Quebec City in 2008 marking the quadricentenary of the founding of that city, along with the history of the Naval Reserve in Canada (headquartered there as well). No separate volume was produced, other than Citizen Sailors / Le marin-citoyen commemorative history cited above. Many of the other papers appeared in various numbers of The Northern Mariner / Le marin du nord (published by the Canadian Nautical Research Society).
